Privacy Policy

The e-shop on the website https://www.w-controls.cz, hereinafter referred to as "W-controls," owned by W-controls s.r.o., ID 096 63 886, with its registered office at Konviktská 297/12, Prague 110 00, Czech Republic, processes personal data provided by the Customer for the purpose of fulfilling and subsequently confirming the General Terms and Conditions, processing electronic orders and deliveries, and necessary communication for the period required by law.

The controller of personal data in accordance with the GDPR Regulation (hereinafter the "Regulation") is W-controls s.r.o., with its registered office at Konviktská 297/12, Prague 1, 110 00, Czech Republic (hereinafter the "Controller").

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable natural person is someone who can be directly or indirectly identified, in particular by reference to an identifier such as name, identification number, location data, online identifier, or one or more specific factors of the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that natural person.

Source of Personal Data

The Controller processes personal data obtained with the Customer’s consent and collected in connection with the purchase contract and execution of electronic orders placed in the W-controls e-shop.
The Controller processes only the identification and contact data of the Customer necessary to fulfill the purchase contract; data regarding the use of Services and login credentials.
Personal data is processed for the purposes of delivery, accounting, and necessary communication between contractual parties for the period required by law. Personal data will not be disclosed or transferred to other countries.

Purpose of Personal Data Processing

The Controller processes the Customer’s personal data for the following purposes:

Registration on the website https://www.w-controls.com in accordance with Chapter 4, Article 2 of the GDPR.
To fulfill electronic orders placed by the Customer (name, address, email, phone number).
To comply with laws and regulations arising from the contractual relationship between the Customer and the Controller.
Personal data is necessary for the fulfillment of the purchase contract. The contract cannot be concluded without providing personal data.
Management of the User account and use of other services provided by the Controller, including support services.
Sending commercial communications and carrying out other marketing activities.

Retention Period

The Controller retains personal data for the period necessary to fulfill the rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between the Controller and the Customer, and for 10 years from the conclusion of the contractual relationship.
After the required retention period, the Controller must delete all personal data.

Recipients and Processors of Personal Data

Third parties processing the Customer’s personal data are the Controller’s subcontractors. Their services are necessary for the successful fulfillment of the purchase contract and the processing of electronic orders between the Controller and the Customer.

Google Analytics (website analytics)

Customer Rights

In accordance with the Regulation, the Customer has the right to:

Access personal data
Rectify personal data
Delete personal data
Object under Article 21 of the GDPR to processing based on legitimate interest or for direct marketing
Data portability
Withdraw consent to personal data processing at any time, in writing or by email to: info@w-controls.cz
Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in case of suspected breach of the Regulation

Personal Data Security

The Controller declares that it implements all technical and organizational measures necessary to protect personal data.
Technical measures include securing storage locations, password-protected access to computers, antivirus software, and regular maintenance of computer systems.

Cookies

To improve service quality and facilitate its use, especially for traffic analysis, user behavior, ad personalization, and access to social media features, the Services use cookies. Cookies may be stored directly by the Controller or by third parties (see "Recipients and Processors of Personal Data").

Cookies may not contain personal data directly, but in combination with other data, they may constitute personal data. By using the Services, you explicitly consent to the storage of cookies on your device and their further use by the Controller. Consent can be withdrawn at any time via individual settings on your device (e.g., web browser settings). Note that blocking or deleting cookies may affect the proper functioning of the Services.

Final Provisions

By placing an electronic order on https://www.w-controls.cz, the Customer confirms that they have read all the privacy conditions and fully accept them.
The Customer agrees to these rules by checking the box for consent to the General Terms and Conditions of W-controls in the order form.
The Controller may update these rules at any time. A new, updated version must be published on the website.

These rules are effective as of 1 December 2020.
